Prostate Cancer Symptoms

Prostate cancer symptoms are mostly known from four symptoms. Those symptoms are Epididymitis, Nocturia, Asymptomatic and Dysuria.

Epididymitis

When a man has a prostate cancer symptoms of having a low grade fever and chills with a heavy sensation in the testicle, which is sensitive to pressure or traction, that can be a symptom of Epididymitis. It is caused by an inflammation of the epdidymis that connects the vasdeferens with the testicle, which is normally caused by infection of the bladder or the urethra.

Nocturia.

Some people have to wake up at night several times in order to pass urine. This is defined as Nocturia, which will become more common as the person becomes older. This is also one of the prostate cancer symptoms.

The overproduction of urine at night (greater than 20-30% of the total 24 hour urine volume), or known as Nocturnal Polyuria, is an important cause of Nocturia. There is a difference in the cause of Nocturia between women and men. For women, nocturia is generally a result from childbirth, menopause, and pelvic organ prolapsed. Meanwhile, for men, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) or known as enlarged prostate is the cause of Nocturia.

Asymptomatic

When infection-fighting cells are present in men’s prostate gland, prostatitis symptoms will normally occur (such as difficulty with urination, fever, and lower back and pelvic pain). This is also known as asymptomatic inflammatory prostatitis as one of prostate cancer symptoms.

Dysuria.

Dysuria is a urinary tract infection. It is originated from a genitourinary infection, which has made its way into the urinary tract. This infection can cause painful urination. For men, Dysuria can be an indication of prostate cancer symptoms, or knowned as prostatic hyperplasis. The problem is caused by hormonal imbalances associated with estrogen production.
